RESEARCH LIBRARY

The Museum has a large collection of books for conducting research on the subject of icons, many of them in Russian, and not readily available elsewhere. It also includes an extensive copy of slides of the collection at Hillwood and auction catalogs, a much neglected research source of what are images of icons which are lost when the icons are sold into private hands.
