The relationship between Church and State in Russia has always been a complex one, often rocky, but never broken. James T. Flynn, Professor Emeritus of History, College of the Holy Cross, and a long-time Museum docent, will trace that relationship from Prince Vladimir, who brought Christianity to Russia in 988, through Imperial Russia, the Soviet and post-Soviet eras, up to the present under Putin.
