The Museum of Russian Icons is a fascinating place for teachers and students to explore. The Museum offers discussion-based tours that engage students of all ages. The study of icons and Russian culture yields rich connections to a wide variety of curriculum areas, including history and social studies, art and art history, and English Language Arts. We can customize your students’ visit to meet your instructional goals and curriculum needs. Please call the Museum for further details.

The Museum of Russian Icons' volunteer docents serve as a wonderful resource to help enrich visitors’ experience of the Museum. Our docents are highly skilled educators who provide both guided tours and informal conversations about the Museum and the collection. A docent is typically available every day the Museum is open to give a tour or answer questions; please call ahead to confirm. The Museum periodically admits prospective docents to our training program. We anticipate accepting the next class of prospective docents in the fall of 2010. Watch our website for the next call for docents, or contact us for more information.
