Directions to the Museum

General directions are below. For more accurate directions from your specific location, please use Google maps.

From Boston and points east
Take the Mass Pike (Interstate 90) westbound to exit 11A North. Merge onto 495 North and take exit 26 toward Route 62 West. Follow Route 62 toward the center of Clinton (about 6 miles) and take a right onto Union Street, making sure to bear left at the Town of Clinton’s welcome sign. Turn right at the stop sign onto Union Street, and the Museum is the brick building on your right across from the park.

From Lowell and points north

Take route 495 South to exit 27 Route 117. Follow Route 117 West towards Bolton for about 4 miles. Take a left at the traffic light onto Route 110 West/Still River Road and follow for about 1 mile. Still River Road then turns into High Street for another 3 miles. Stay straight on High Street when going through the 5-point intersection at the yellow blinking light. At end of High Street take a left onto Union Street. Stay left at the split in the road as you arrive at the town green. The Museum is the brick building on the right across from the park.

From Springfield and points west
Take the Mass Pike (Interstate 90) East to exit 10 (exit Marlborough/NH Maine direction) to Route 290 East. Take Route 290 East to exit 23B and merge onto Route 140 North (about 2 miles). Turn right onto Route 70 N and follow the road (about 7 miles) into Clinton making sure to bear left at the Town of Clinton’s welcome sign. Turn right at the stop sign onto Union Street, and the Museum is the brick building on your right across from the park.

From Route 2
Take exit 35 from East or West onto Lunenburg/Lancaster Route 70 South. After 3 miles, take a left at the stop sign to briefly merge onto Route 117 before taking a right to merge back onto Route 70. Remain on Route 70 South to Lancaster/Clinton for 4 miles. After passing under the railroad bridge, take the second left onto Mechanic Street. Stay left at the split in the road as you arrive at town green. The Museum is a brick building located on your right about ½ mile on Mechanic Street across from the park.

Parking
There are several areas to park in Clinton. Street parking is free along Union Street and all around the perimeter of the park across from the Museum. A free public parking lot is also located on Walnut Street (across the park from the Museum) between the First Congregational Church and Baptist Church. Parking at the Presbyterian Church, 175 Chestnut Street is also available for Museum visitors.

Public Transportation
The Town of Clinton does not provide local transportation; however there are regional transit providers available. Taxis are available at most commuter stations for local service to the Museum. The following are a list of transportation resources:

Individuals must call Clinton Livery to schedule pick up in advance and mention the $18.00 each way offer to the Museum of Russian Icons from the Leominster North Commuter Station. Passenger is responsible for payment upon arrival to Museum and Commuter Rail station.
