I have I think must be a Russian Icon. I had searched in the internet. I found one that resembles my icon. The title of the icon is: Holy Feast and Scenes of Passion.; though I lack 2 of the pictures . I would like to know more of my icon. Thanks

Nancy: If you'd like, you can email photos of your icons to info [at] museumofrussianicons.org and we can see if our consultant Frank Ford can give you some information about them. For values, we suggest you contact Jackson's auction house in Cedar Falls, Iowa, which specializes in icons.

I have a few icons that are very old. Is there anywhere in the western US that you know of where I can take my icons to have them evaluated? Also, where do you suggest I go to find the value? Thanks.

Frank's an icon expert and the take It To The Curator at the Museum of Russian Icons is inceasingly a popular program. He give straight advice on the condition of the icons he sees, and how to care for them, he's is an expert on the subjects, some of which are pretty tricky...he can also date the icon pretty accurately and give some indication of the geographical location where they were made. Of course a lot of people want to know how much their icons are worth and the Msueum cannot by law give that information.
